Terries
are a very cheap and effective option, very absorbent, hard
wearing, and once their use as a nappy is over- very versatile!
Wash up
to 60°C and hang or tumble dry. All sizes are approximate
and cut to allow for some shrinkage. Use with Airflow wrap.

Prefold
Made up of layers of cotton for good absorbancy. 3 panels:
the outer two has 4 layers, the central panel has 8. It only
needs a very simple fold and a guide can be supplied if necessary.
This is a very economical nappy and extremely hard wearing-
which is why nappy laundry services use it.
The Small size will suit from birth to 15lb, and thereafter
can be used as an additional booster layer, ideal at nights.
Medium will suit from 15lb to between 28-35lb depending on build.
Wash up to 95°C and hang or tumble dry. Use with a wrap
designed for use with prefolds, eg Mother-ease Rikki.

Muslin
I would have been lost iwithout my supply of muslins: for discrete
breastfeeding, as a burp cloth, bibs (a bit big for the little
ones perhaps but really comes into its own later on!), sunshade,
all purpose absorbant cloth...
As well as being an essential piece of kit for anyone dealing
with babies and toddlers, muslins are often used as nappies
for new-born babies as they can fold up very small, they can
also be used as a booster later on.
